How do you spend your time?
What are you doing on a daily or weekly basis that could easily be done by someone else?
Are you spending your time doing admin rather than focusing on the high value services that you actually went into business to do?
Delegating can be a difficult thing to do, you think it’s easier to that job yourself rather than explain to someone else how to do it. In the long run this is a false economy. Spending time with a member or staff or an assistant explaining the task process is one of the best ways to free up your time (and headspace!), especially for ongoing or recurring admin, so that you can focus on your business and your clients.
In case you’re unsure what a VA can help with, I’ve been helping various clients with their bookkeeping, email organisation and responses to enquiries, creating presentations and being an online tester for those presentations, providing remote assistance for a company whilst they recruit a new team member, updating websites with events, social media posting, providing support to participants in a newly launched online coaching club, booking hotels, and creating flyers.
This list isn’t exhaustive, but it does give an idea of how a Virtual Assistant could help you or someone you know.
